Gordon A. Stemple, A Law Corporation
How We Work
If you’ve been affected by asbestos, silicosis, another toxic substance, or a bad-faith insurer, you deserve to be heard.
The consultation is free. The work is contingency. You owe nothing if there is no recovery. If another firm works on the case, that split does not raise the fee you pay.
How the call works
During working hours a receptionist will pick up and let you know if Gordon is in or not.
If he’s in you’ll be transferred, otherwise you'll be asked to leave your contact information and he'll reach out.
On the call Gordon will listen, ask questions, and say whether this office should look further. There is no charge and no obligation for the consultation.
If you have medical records, work history, a policy, or a denial letter, that helps. But you do not need a bunch of records in front of you to dial.
What it costs
All retainers in this office are on a contingency fee basis.
You pay a percentage of a recovery (settlement, trial, or both) agreed in writing and approved by you before the work starts.
If no financial recovery is made on your behalf, there is no fee.
If this office works with another firm, California Rule 1.5.1 governs the fee split.
Multiple firms working on your case will not increase the fee.
If you think it’s too late
Don’t assume it’s too late on your own.
Time limits are not the same in every state. The only way to know is to call.
The consultation with Gordon is free.
If you or your family member is 70 or older, or a doctor has said there may be less than six months life expectancy, California courts can fast-track a case: months, not years.
